Greenville, New Hampshire (August 21, 2014) – XOR Media returns to IBC 2014 and will showcase its cloud-capable, media-optimized technologies including Cloud Aqua, a next generation object-based cloud storage solution and MediaServer G, its latest video server with integrated real-time graphics generator.
MediaPower, XOR Media’s exclusive distributor in EMEA for Broadcast products will be at stand 7.J42 at the RAI Amsterdam on September 12-16 to present the entire line of broadcast storage and video products including showcasing the following additions to the XOR Media product lineup:
Cloud AquaCloud Aqua is a private cloud object-based storage system that provides next generation video playout, real-time sharing and intelligent management of big data and media files across networks or multiple sites. It features storage virtualization, dynamic resource allocation, automated policy-based media files processing, cross-platform data sharing, application transparency, and low latency high-bandwidth geographically-dispersed content distribution, all in a fully resilient and scalable object-based architecture.
MediaServer GThe MSV-G combines SDI and IP stream play-out, audio, routing and channel branding into an integrated application with industry standard APIs to seamlessly integrate into broadcast operations. The advanced channel branding graphics capability is powered by a 3-dimensional real time rendering engine made up of audio mixer, 4-input video DVE, video mixer, character generator, and accelerated graphics processing for play-out of complex scenes. On top of standard SDI playout, MSV-G also supports IP stream playout to XOR Cloud Aqua, CDNs, 3rd party Cloud, and local IPTV media servers.
